Assura Supports Warrington Peace Centre

23.09.2016

Assura will be, along with the help of CE Services, donating IT equipment to The Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Foundation For Peace and Warrington Youth Club where they will be installed for use at The Warrington Peace Centre.

The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation For Peace works with people affected by political violence and acts of terror to support them in dealing with their past experiences and using them as the motivation for creating positive change. The foundation works with people of all backgrounds to prevent violent conflict by helping them to develop the skills and understanding to be able to resolve conflict through non-violent means and ways.

The Warrington Youth Club provides a place where young people know they are safe and there is always a friendly face that they can rely on. The youth club offer loads of activities as it is so important to engage young people in simple things such as painting, sport, music and games where they can develop social interaction skills that so many of them just don’t have. The Warrington Youth Club has a huge social responsibility to help each young person discover what they can become good at, to nurture them to achieve and to encourage them to take the risk and try something new.

Assura hopes that the donated equipment will be a big help for both of these key charities at the Warrington Peace Centre, whose work is invaluable.
