Works Begin Onsite At Two New Primary Care Developments

Plans for a new integrated health and social project are underway as works begin on site in Swansea.
The centre will be providing accommodation for an existing GP practice and family centre, as well as an on site pharmacy. The new development will resolve existing expansion space issues, the lack of disabled access and costly repair works at the current GP premises.
The state of the art medical centre is being developed by Ashley House and funded by Assura. Swansea City Council are working in partnership with Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Local Health Board, who will provide funding for the running of the GP surgery.

A conversion of a former school building is underway to provide a fit for purpose medical centre in Wivenhoe. The re-development will provide a new premises for Wivenhoe Surgery. The additional space that will be provided will allow for the delivery of much needed services that are not currently available to patients within the Wivenhoe area.
The new primary care premises is being developed by Ashley House and is being funded by the NHS who are supported by Essex County Council. Assura have been appointed as the long term funder on this project.
